He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Tomorrow SAMS-USA is declaring that it is Spread the Gospel Day! Help us cover social media with God’s word and testimony by sharing your favorite verses in your status! Share this with your friends to helps us get the news out!
SAMS, Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders, has declared tomorrow as Spread the Gospel Day. I partnered with SAMS on several of my mission trips so when I saw their post on Facebook, I decided I would participate by dedicating my blog to this subject. What do you plan to do tomorrow to help “Spread the Gospel?”
Our world needs to hear the message of Jesus. A simple way to “Spread the Gospel” tomorrow is to share your favorite Bible verse on your Facebook page and sate the reason why you are sharing it. Let’s start a wonderful new tradition with “Spread the Gospel Day.” It will be exciting to see how this will spread across Facebook and how God will use it to change lives.
Another way I “Spread the Gospel” is on my mission trips. I give Bibles as gifts to those I meet. I also make sure each of the children in my orphanages has a Bible of their own. Poverty prevents many people from possessing a Bible. Sometime, entire churches have no Bibles for their congregations. The gift of a Bible is like a treasures sent from heaven to those starving for The Word of God. Eyes dancing with sheer joy as they accept the gift of an item they thought they would never receive. Holding it tightly, they flip through the pages with a reverence that humbles me for not reacting the same way with my Bible. What treasured memories I hold of witnessing this physical sharing of the Gospel. Many organization can help you give Bibles to those who do not have any. Organizations like American Bible Society, Faith Comes by Hearing, or The Bible League can help you physically Spread the Gospel.
