Galatians 1:10 “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.”

Do you take the quizzes you find on Facebook? Did you click on my post because you thought it was another quiz? I find it such a fascinating phenomenon. Some of the quizzes I have seen recently include:

Who is most like you?

Who is your best friend?

What is your personality type?

What color best describes you?

What does your name mean?

I think these quizzes reveal how much we are all searching for people to like us. We want to be loved. We spend our time searching to make connections on a deeper level. But we are searching in the wrong places.

James 4:8 “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”

God loves you. He always have and always will. You just have to seek Him. God doe not care about your past, only about your future with Him.
